Major Update to Ashcan Edition!


Whew!

It's been a long week, y'all. But I've gotten a lot of work done on this project of mine, and I'm super excited to share it with you. I'm moving ever-closer to the polished project that I want to achieve.

So without any further ado, let's get into the changes!

  • General formatting and clarity
  • Updated safety tools section and content warnings to reflect setting additions
  • Added "Extra Credits" to credit the creators of Charge Extras
  • Playbooks and Talent Trees
    • Completed all four playbooks (Engineer, Farmer, Fisher, Miner)
      • Complete with talent trees, ties to your community and other PCs, and questions to develop points of interest based on your playbook
    • Completed two general talent trees that can be taken by any player; Universal, and Merchantry
    • Completed special talent tree that requires training to access; Magiturgy
  • Added "What Doesn't Kill You" to Scars (just a mechanic I'd left out on accident)
  • Removed Goods and Trade, replaced with the Scrap system
  • Added a fancy table for "Completing a Goal" with clarified rewards
  • Added advice for goals in a one-shot
  • Add a lot of new setting information, bringing it up to SEVENTEEN (17!) pages
    • includes
      • world forces, points of interest, notable NPCs
      • advice on creating alternate settings
      • two sci-fi alternate settings, complete with world forces
  • Added "Rule Negative Zero" by Richard Kelly
  • Added "One Last Thing" by René-Pier Deshaies-Gélinas
  • Added Ashcan Supporters section for those that have purchased the game in the current edition
  • Updated character sheet
  • Created community sheet

WHEW~! I told you it was a lot :3 To anyone who took the time to look at this, thank you so much. I'm falling more in love with this game every day, even as my eyes dry out and I lose all sense of time (it's 5:11 am, and I haven't slept yet). I really enjoy working on this, and I appreciate all of your support.
