The Premise
This is an educational zine about six dinosaurs; ankylosaurus, austroraptor, pachycephalosaurus, parasaurolophus, stegosaurus, and triceratops. These are the dinosaurs that I chose as player character options for Dino Goons. They are some of my own personal favorites, and I wanted to share that love (and learn some new stuff myself) in the form of this zine!

This zine was created for the third annual July Sixth Park DinoJam, which I have hosted for the last three years. Please check out the jam page to see more entries, and consider joining yourself. If the jam time has passed, don’t worry; there’s always next year!

I loved reading the fast facts page, and the deeper dive on the right, all surrounded by beautiful art! There are so many wonderful details in here, like the little staple marks that go across pages (makes me egg-cited to print this one out and see them physically!). I enjoyed all the fun facts for each dino too 💚

I love the art! I love the look of the dinosaurs - the way they are posed and colored reminds me of old game art and thats really cool.
I also especially love the drawings of the dinosaur skulls, my favorite parts of reading educational material when I was little was seeing the realistic drawings of creatures, and the skulls reminded me of that!
