The End is Near

Rise of the End is an apocalyptic horror tragedy; your characters will not survive. They are doomed from the start. But they don't know that, and this game about trying to do more than survive; this game is about living while you're alive.

Security Tracker

Rise of the End features the Security Tracker, inspired by Rise of the Apes' "STRENGTH Tracker". It tracks the survivors' growing security and sense of complacency at the end of the world, allowing them to live rather than merely survive, but also giving them something to lose.

* Page 3 contains the only mention of suicide in the text; it is included due to being a common aspect of zombie and horror media, but is not mentioned again after the content warnings. Please take extra care to address this topic when discussing lines, veils, and safety measures.

Made to Rise

Rise of the End is built using the RISE SRD, which uniquely blends character creation and game mechanics into an evolving 3 act structure. Your characters continue to grow and change throughout the game and character creation continues until the last session.
